• Buy new stuff. GoPro Hero 9 Black... iPhone 12 Pro... GH5... A6400... Logitech C920... MacBook Pro... Get 2 more ring lights on scissor arms, iPhone to HDMI cable.
• Buy MacBook Pro M1 16GB ram 512GB SSD S$2500... Coz only 100g more than Air, battery lasts 2hrs longer but has fan noise... I don't want fan noise, then get MacBook Air M1 2020 512GB at S$1799. Confirm!!!!! Get Mac Book Air... See the comparison... https://youtu.be/FygH5V_WmIE 
  
• Buy iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB S$1800... Coz only S$150 more than Pro, better camera, larger screen... get something easy to carry iPhone 12 Pro 128GB at S$1649... [If I buy from redwhite...Check for the best price here... https://qoo.tn/BbFwQX/Q100206579... Only S$2 less] OR [If I buy from M1 the iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB S$760 + S$78*12mth = S$1696... Plus another 12 months contract of S$936... Not worth it] OR [buy direct from Apple SG with installment S$68.71 x24mths... And lower my M1 contract ta o SIM-only plan of $25/mth... Most financially sensible]
• Do NOT upgrade to Big Sur till all bugs are cleaned out. OBS didn't work for months in the last one. 
• Get Sony A6600 or A6400... 6600 has headphones out, 6400 has a more compact 16mm kit lens. Sony a6400 with 16-55mm kit lens costs S$1399... Sony a6600 with 16-55mm lens costs S$2370... Sony A7iii body only S$2496... Panasonic GH5 with 12-60mm lens S$2760.
• Sell old stuff... Samsung NX500, GoPro Hero5 Black

I have two things on my mind: MacBook Air M1 vs MacBook Pro M1.

Which should I get? Which is better?

I have made up my mind… The MacBook Air M1… here are 3 reasons.

1. Quiet – The MacBook Air does not have a fan built-in. I do a lot of video recording with voice. The MacBook Pro fan will turn on whenever I record video.
2. Cheaper – It’s S$400 less with the same 16GB Ram / 512GB SSD / 8-core M1 configuration. The price of a MacBook Air is S$2099 as of December 2020. The price of the MacBook Pro M1 is S$2449 as of December 2020.
3. Performance – I need a powerful machine for live streaming, live recording, and video editing. I know the MacBook Pro M1 is the more powerful version but is it? Based on this video comparison, it is not.

One more thing. I prefer lightweight. So with no fan and with lightweight, the MacBook Air M1 wins.
