Selling NFT on Opensea using Ethereum Cryptocurrency in Singapore
Here's how I sell NFTs on Opensea using Ethereum Cryptocurrency in Singapore.
- Create a Coinbase Cryptocurrency Wallet. I chose https://www.coinbase.com/wallet because it is one of the few Cryptocurrency wallets supported in Singapore. Blog... https://adrianvideoimage.com/create-coinbase-wallet-in-singapore/
- Connect Coinbase Wallet with Opensea. There is no way to open an Opensea account other than connecting it to a crypto wallet. I did it using the Coinbase app on my phone... https://adrianvideoimage.com/connecting-coinbase-wallet-to-opensea/ You can do it on a computer by first installing the Coinbase Wallet extension on Google Chrome, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/coinbase-wallet-extension/hnfanknocfeofbddgcijnmhnfnkdnaad, then go to Opensea.com on the same Google Chrome to connect the wallet.
- Transfer Ethereum to coinbase wallet... blog https://adrianvideoimage.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-to-transfer-ethereum-from-cryptocom.html
- List my NFT for sale... https://adrianvideoimage.blogspot.com/2022/02/my-first-listing-of-nft-for-sale-on.html
The above trial and error are way too complicated.
If I were to do it all over, here's how on a computer...
- Create a Metamask wallet... On a computer, go to Google Chrome and visit https://metamask.io to install the Metamask Chrome extension. Follow the instructions and save the passwords given.
- Connect Metamask to Opensea. On Chrome, go to https://opensea.io and connect with Metamask.
- Buy Ethereum on Metamask. Go to Metamask on Chrome. Buy about SGD500 of Ethereum using credit or debit cards. Some cards may not work here.
So my Citibank credit card cannot be used to buy Crypto. The solution is to use https://www.straitsx.com/en or use a Debit card.
