In this tutorial, I’ll guide you through the process of making giant oranges using CapCut mobile, a popular video editing app. Whether you’re a seasoned content creator or a beginner, follow these steps to create eye-catching visuals that will leave your viewers amazed!

1. Setup Scene

• Place the Oranges: Begin by arranging the oranges on a chair near the camera. Make sure they are visible and well-lit.
• Position the Chair: Set the chair in front of a sofa. This will serve as your backdrop.
• Start Recording: Hit the record button and pretend to examine the oranges from a distance.

2. Oranges Pickup

• Approach the Oranges: Walk toward the oranges, maintaining a steady pace. Imagine you’re discovering these giant fruits for the first time.
• Pick Them Up: Reach down and pick up the oranges. Show the weight and texture as you lift them off the chair.
• Remove the Chair: After picking up the oranges, remove the chair from the scene. You want the focus to be on the empty sofa.

3. Empty Sofa Shot

• Capture the Empty Sofa: Continue recording for a few seconds, focusing on the empty sofa. This shot will come in handy during editing.

4. Editing in CapCut

Now let’s bring the magic to life using CapCut:

1. Open CapCut: Launch the CapCut app and start a new project.
2. Add Your Recording: Import the video clip you recorded earlier by tapping on “ADD.”
3. Split the Clip:
   • Move the timeline forward to the part where you’ve finished picking up the oranges.
   • Split the clip at this point.
   • Next, move the timeline to the beginning of the empty sofa shot and split it again.
   • Delete the middle section between the two splits.
4. Overlay the Empty Sofa:
   • Select the empty sofa clip and choose “Overlay.”
   • Drag the overlay under the first clip (where you’re holding the oranges).
5. Remove BG (Background):
   • Select the overlay.
   • Choose “Remove BG.”
   • Use the brush tool to paint over half of the sofa and half of the floor. This will make it appear as if the giant oranges are part of the scene.

5. Playback

• Watch Your Creation: Play back the edited video and enjoy the magical transformation!
