Unboxing, setting up, and using the PHOTOOLEX Four Colors Photography Flashlight Set, 10W.

Inside the box, I found a USB to Type-C charging cable, a silicone projection cover, 20 pieces of styling slides, a soft diffuser, the flashlight itself, a carrying pouch, a warranty card, and a user guide.

I also got the option with a mini tripod.

The flashlight has a three quarter-inch screw hole to mount it on a tripod.

The flashlight feels solid with a metal body and a glass lens with four different colored LEDs visible behind the lens.

There is only one button on the device.

I pressed and held the round button for 2 seconds to turn it on, then rotated the button clockwise to brighten the light.

A quick press on the button changes the color of the light and cycles through 4 colors, from white to red to orange to blue.

At 10W, the light is very bright, casting harsh shadows on the wall. So I attached the diffuser, which softened the shadows but also reduced a lot of light.

Next, I attached the silicone projection cover and a styling slide that resembles a window with six panes. Changing the light to orange makes it appear like a sunset shining through a real window on my wall. I can also rotate the window pattern from vertical to horizontal.

There is a slide pattern of a Chinese character for double happiness that I think wedding event organizers should use, especially when switching the light to red.

The multiple circles pattern in blue light looks like bubbles underwater.

Then there is a spotlight pattern with just one circle that I think will make a great aesthetic background.

There are 20 patterns to try projecting onto the wall. 

Extending the head of the flashlight also reduced the area of the light.

This product will make a great addition to a videographer's or photographer's gear list to enhance the background of their scene setup.
