Missed one day of journal yesterday. Too caught up with clearing work for the weekend. In the last one, I couldn't log in to my Sandbox Game account on the launch day of Season 2. I wrote to Sandbox. They replied.
But first...
How is my first NFT doing?
Let's see how my first NFT is doing in Opensea. Of course, nothing is happening.
Selling NFT is more than just listing in the marketplace.
Your product website should be publicly available on its own separate and unique domain name
The project should have a unique and compelling description and backstory
The landing page should be unique and professional
Your project should have a Discord community with plenty of members and activity
The project should not have any fraud, plagiarism, or other obvious violations
There may be other requirements at the discretion of our moderators
...
👉 I will come back to these points later. Allocate 1 hour after finishing this journal.
Nothing happened. Take that 1 hour above to study.
Note these hashtags to use... #nft #crypto #eth #openseaNFT #metaverse
What's the latest news about Opensea?
"NFT marketplace OpenSea confirms it will block accounts hit by U.S. sanctions, reviving debate over how decentralized blockchain really is"
I guess this is the turning point.
Cryptocurrency is about to lose value.
Are blockchain projects really decentralized and free from political pressure as proponents claim?
Let's take 5 minutes to explore the Opensea website.
The collection is a set of artistic photos. No variation. All different photos. I have seen enough monkeys wearing different glasses, clothes, and accessories.
The base price is a humble $150 average... and there are buyers... 17 owners!
Each photo title is a one-word description related to the wind.
Each collection has its own meaningful description.
Each collection has a well-designed banner and profile picture.
This creator also buys and collects other creators' works.
Ok enough exploring.
Time to improve on mine.
- Added a banner
- Added a profile picture
My Opensea account is connected with my Coinbase Wallet.
How is my Coinbase Wallet?
Let's check-in daily to make sure my money is still there.
I can access it from Chrome extension or mobile app.
There is 0.0495 ETH ($130.71 USD).
How is my CRYPTO.COM?
Accessed with the
Crypto.com app on my Samsung Galaxy S10 Android phone.
I use it for trading Crypto, buying ETH. This is the only place right now where I can exchange real money for cryptocurrency.
There are 45.29 Cronos and 0.0966 ETH. The rest of the $372.56 USD is Fiat via XSGD StraitsX.
When is a good time to buy and sell ETH?
Purchased 0.06 ETH (SGD217) a few days back.
I told myself to Sell when it breaks the support level at 2924.1.
I went against myself again. Didn't sell when it reached that level. Now is 2640.
What should I do now?
Any news about the Sandbox Game?
Season 2 is released today.
There is a Play Now button and a Download button. What's the difference?
I clicked on Play Now, then Enter the Alpha Lobby. I am asked to download the Sandbox software.
So I downloaded, installed, and ran the software. The software opened and asked for my email and password.
Lo and behold!
It says my username and password are incorrect...
I tried to shut down, re-open, and recover the password. Nothing worked.
It feels like something is telling me not to fool with this scheme... or be fooled.
My excitement disappeared.
Let's forget the Sandbox Game hype.
Forget about learning VoxEdit to make NFTs.
Don't bother to include my MetaMask wallet, instead of the Coinbase wallet, coz it's not supported by Sandbox.
How is my MetaMask?
I can access it via the Chrome extension.
0 ETH... I haven't put in any money yet.
What's next?
See you in the next one...
