So I saw this Black Friday sale at Challenger computer store. HP ENVY x360 7RA10PA R7-3700U (16GB RAM,1TB SSD Vega 10) It's a convertible flippable touch screen laptop. Priced at $1,449 and the usual price is $1,849. Is it good? I have never checked this model up before. Let's take a look at the specs. I was captured by the 16 MB RAM offer and the one terabyte SSD. So the processor is the AMD Ryzen 7. What is AMD Ryzen 7 as compared with Intel? The AMD Ryzen 7 is the equivalent to Intel i7. It is slower than i7 but has more value... that means the amount you pay extra for the i7 is not worth the extra speed. What about the integrated GPU, the AMD Radeon Vega 10? So Vega 10 is designed to make gameplay smoother... Light gameplay. Now that sounds interesting! Up to here, I am sold. A high power convertible laptop at a value price. Now, let's check out other specs. Wow, it has got an 88-degree webcam. That's very wide! But is it 1080p or the usual 720p? The answer is 720p.
