Free Google Meet vs Free Zoom for Online Teaching - vs Jitsi

I don't want to subscribe to Zoom because I don't use it regularly. I need screen sharing with screen audio, recording support and no time limit or at least 2 hours.

Can the free version of Google Meet do it?

1. Time Limit: Google Meet 60 minutes | Zoom 40 minutes

2. Recording Support: Google Meet - No | Zoom - Yes

3. Screen Sharing:  Google Meet - Yes | Zoom - Yes

It seems Google meet is not a good alternative after all.

Or maybe I could break the training in to small chunks.

The recording can be done with OBS screen capture.

JITSI

How about Jitsi - the open source Zoom alternative?

- Time limit: 3 hours

- Screen sharing with audio: Yes, but for Mac, only from a Chrome Tab. Need to use a Windows computer.

- Recording: Only via dropbox. Solve this with OBS.

The best thing - Direct YouTube playback is perfect, unlike the jittery playback from Chrome.
