I recently picked up a generic folding laptop stand from Shopee SG for exactly S$2.18. My goal wasn't to hold a laptop at all—I wanted to see if this ultra-cheap piece of plastic could solve a specific footprint problem with my live streaming gear. The Problem: The 15-Inch Laptop Wobble Before using it for my intended purpose, I tested the stand exactly as it is advertised: as a laptop bracket. The product page claims it can support up to 15kg. It comes as a lightweight, plastic X-frame with DIY silicone non-slip pads that you stick on yourself. When I placed my 15-inch laptop on it and started typing, the whole setup wobbled significantly.
