Daily Livestream Challenge Day 1

The key to live-streaming daily is not something I'll ever understand... But 3 things happened today.

What happened today?

1. The decision to go live - I am about to spend the next 3 hours outlining my next YouTube video. Instead of researching alone, I went live.

2. The benefit of Tiktok Live - My Tiktok followers were happy to chatt with me and kept me company. 3 new viewers followed. One asked for my YouTube channel and subscribed.

3. The reason for Twitch TV Live - Twitch is the only place I know where I can stream myself unscripted. I use it to record the behind-the-scenes. I have 14 days to download the recording if I ever need an interesting snippet.

This has been my daily live-stream experiment using different platforms, different devices, and in different situations.

I will document the outcome of each experiment here.

Is there anything new I could test?

What else happened?

- I streamed to Tiktok and Twitch at the same time.

- I did not stream to Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram, because the content is unscripted.

- The stream was just about me researching and outlining my next youtube video featuring the face tracking gimbal.

- There were 8000 active Tiktok followers online but only 480 viewers.

- There were 0 Twitch followers online but 2 viewers.

- Both platforms had active chats.

- Both were impressed by the gimbal I was demonstrating.

- 1 Tiktok viewer asked for my YouTube channel and subscribed.

- 3 Tiktok viewers followed my channel after stumbling on my stream.

- The stream lasted 2.5 hours from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

- The Twitch stream cut off halfway. I had to reset to start a new stream. Is it an iPhone 6 issue or a Twitch app issue?

End of report.
